Colour your rights: Commemoration of the Anniversary the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child.
Dear OMEP National Presidents:
We hope that you are all doing very well and that you are optimistically facing the transformation of our daily lives due to COVID -19. As you know, the changes in our lives and in the routines of children led us to the decision to extend the term of the World Project “COLOR YOUR RIGHTS: Commemoration of the Anniversary of the Convention on the Rights of the Child” until June 30, 2021.
In this sense, we want to inform you that we continue with the announced process inviting each country to select and send by email, before June 30, 10 drawings, which will be presented at the 2022 World Assembly and Conference, to be held in Athens. The works will also be shared through the OMEP Cyprus website.
We also want to announce a GREAT NEW: OMEP Cyprus has obtained support to publish a book with children’s works and to hold an exhibition in Nicosia, Cyprus. That is why TODAY we invite the Committees that wish to participate in this NEW PROPOSAL:
For the book and the exhibition we need the Presidents of the National Committees:
1- send us a letter of intent advising their willingness to participate before of 10th June 2021,to email to firstname.lastname@example.org / email@example.com;and
2- select and send to OMEP Cyprus, between 2 and 4 original works of the children BY POST before July 23, 2021. Postal address:

For our part, we undertake to return the original works of art to the national presidents, as well as the works of art from the previous art project, at the World Conference in Athens in July 2022.
