The United Nations Civil Society Conference, held on May 9-10, 2024, is the main event on the United Nations civil society calendar. The Conference brings together civil society with senior officials of the United Nations system, academics, public opinion makers and international media to discuss issues of global interest. OMEP has consultative status at the United Nations and permanently promotes the consideration of the right to education from birth
This international forum brings together more than 1,500 participants to debate the content of the Future Summit that will be held in September 2024 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York.
Llian Oloo Okal is working together with colleagues from the Global Campaign for Education (GCE) to advocate for the incorporation of the right to education in the Future Pact.
