International Commemorations

The United Nations designates specific days, weeks, years and decades as occasions to mark particular events or topics in order to promote, through awareness and action, the objectives of the Organization.

Some of this celebrations were voted and approved in the OMEP’s World Assemblies, as they concern issues that fall within the scope of our competencies. The aims of the international commemorations are related to OMEP´s institutional values and objectives.
