To give continuity to the regional Strategic Agenda, the Assembly has the following purposes:
• Know and discuss the problems and priorities of each country and the region in relation to the realization of the right to education and comprehensive care of children, identifying tensions and challenges.
• Monitor the Regional Strategic Plan to reorient future actions in each country.
• Monitor the progress of global projects and articulate them within the Regional Plan.
• Discuss ideas and positions following the agenda of the regional and global Declarations, defining the academic-political activities of each Committee in the region.
The presidents of the national committees and their official delegates will attend.
The Congress is organized by OMEP Peru in partnership with Centauro Editorial, and its theme will be: The Curriculum in the daily life of the Initial Education Institutions.
Its purpose is to place on the agenda the main changes of the educational paradigm and its effects on the curriculum through lectures and panels by leading figures of the Latin American Initial Education and the host country.
