Lisbeth requested in the discussion that early childhood be added after the term Education, a constant requirement from OMEP, as well as inclusion and education for peace.
The Recommendation concerning Education for International Understanding, Cooperation and Peace and Education relating to Human Rights and Fundamental Freedoms (1974), is a landmark legal instrument, a document offering an interdisciplinary perspective, which remains unique. among UNESCO’s normative instruments in the field of education. However, new responses are currently needed to ensure that education contributes to the construction of a fair world, sustainable, healthy and peaceful societies, which is why its revision is very important.
