El Salvador:
REMEMBERING HAYDEE ARAUJO DE LUCHA, OMEP PRESIDENT OF EL SALVADOR
At age 84 Haydée left us, after almost 50 years working for the cause of children within the OMEP Committee of El Salvador.
We will miss her optimism, her unwavering kindness and her dedication to honorary work for the rights of Early Childhood.
Teacher of Primary Education, Bachelor of Science in Education and a Masters in University Teaching, began her long career as a kindergarten teacher, always splurging humanity and quiet wisdom.
This year, OMEP El Salvador celebrates 60 years, being one of the oldest in the Latin American Region and it was thanks to its effort and dedication that this Committee has remained active and present in Salvadoran education.
The legacy of her dreams remains in the hands of each and every one of the companions of El Salvador and the Latin American Region.
